Patna: A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today i.e. Friday (May 19) on the petition filed against the release of Bihar's Bahubali leader and former MP Anand Mohan. During this, the top court has expressed strong displeasure over the Bihar government not responding on time on the matter. Along with this, the court has also refused to do politics on this matter.

The court warned all the parties that no one should politicize the matter in the court. Mention only the legal aspects in the court. At the same time, the petitioner has accused the government of deliberately postponing the matter. As soon as the hearing started, advocate Siddharth Luthra, appearing for the petitioner, said that the petition was sent to everyone. But, deliberate efforts are being made to postpone the matter and the reply has not been filed.

Expressing displeasure on this, the Supreme Court gave the last chance to the Bihar government to file its reply. Now the next hearing in this matter will be held on August 1. Giving the last chance to the Bihar government, the bench said that the hearing will not be postponed further. The top court has ordered the Bihar government to present the documents related to the changes related to the provisions of exemption in punishment. The court has given one week's time to the Bihar government to file its reply. Along with this, Anand Mohan has also been given the last chance to file his reply in a week.
