Kolkata: The case of the alleged attack on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram has reached the top court. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding a CBI inquiry. The bench of three judges headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) SA Bobde will hear in the Supreme Court today. 

In fact, three lawyers have filed a petition demanding the apex court to direct the CBI to investigate the Nandigram incident that injured West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on 10 March 2021. There was a lot of ruckus about this incident. Mamata Banerjee, who was injured in this incident, is still campaigning even after the plaster has been put on her feet. Let me tell you that on 10 March 2021, Mamata Banerjee had filed the nomination for the Nandigram seat. She went to a place in the evening the same day. During this time, a crowd of some people surrounded him. Mamata alleges that she has been attacked. Mamata's leg was injured in this attack.

With this, she was having trouble breathing. In a hurry, Mamata was brought to Kolkata. Eyewitness Nimai Maiti said that the incident happened in front of my shop, between about 6: 10 to 6: 20 Mamata Banerjee was going from one temple to another, there is a bend at the same place, she was shaking her hand and People were running out of the car, then people ran, due to which the door of the car hit their leg and they got hurt.
