New Delhi: The case of the disputed Gyanvapi mosque adjoining the Kashi Vishwanath temple is currently sub-judice in the court. BJP leader and former Union Minister Subramanian Swamy in a tweet on the issue said that the Supreme Court does not seem to be serious about the liberation of the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Swamy said this after providing a date of next month for hearing a petition filed by himself.

The BJP leader tweeted, "Supreme Court registry has indicated that there are many obstacles in the way of freeing the Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga Gyanvapi Temple. That is, the Places of Worship Act, 1991, which I had challenged in a written petition, will be listed for hearing on September 8 next month. Let us know that Subramanian Swamy says that the court has fixed the date of next month to free the Kashi Vishwanath temple, so it does not seem that the court is serious in this matter. Reactions from Twitter users to Subramanian Swamy's tweet have also come out. One user wrote in the comment, 'You are fighting only for temple mosques, what will happen to the problems of common people?'

Another user commented, "You are blessed sir, only a leader with a good heart like you can do this sir. You go ahead, sir. The nation will always be indebted to you.'' Let me tell you that, Subramanian Swamy often tweets about the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Earlier, they had demanded that after the statues were found in the Gyanvapi Mosque, it is better that the mosque be shifted elsewhere and the Gyaniwapi Vishwanath Temple is restored at its ancient site.
