New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday ordered the UP government to set up an SIT to probe allegations of sexual exploitation in the case of a victim girl accused of sexually abusing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Swami Chinmayanand. The Supreme Court has said that the Allahabad High Court will supervise the SIT.

On the other hand, Justice Bhanumati and Justice Bopanna of the apex court again met Shahjahanpur's girl who accused the BJP leader Chinmayanand of sexual exploitation in a separate room on Monday. After that, there will be a hearing in open court. Earlier, on Friday, the court ordered the victim to be kept in Delhi and to meet her parents.

Earlier, the victim, who was safely recovered from Dausa district of Rajasthan, was presented in the Supreme Court on Friday (20) evening under tight security by the UP Police. After the negotiations in the court ended, Justice R. Bhanumathi had told only that the student has refused to go to UP. Also, she has said that she should be kept under strict security in Delhi till she meets her parents.
