Abdul Qashim arrested from West Bengal, working for terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen

Kolkata: West Bengal Police on Monday arrested an activist of the terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JMB). The arrest was made near Ghaznabi on East Canal Road, Kolkata at 10 am on the basis of concrete information by the STF. The arrested suspect is said to be Abdul Qashim alias Kashim and is 22 years old.

The suspect is said to be a resident of Durmut village in Bardhaman district of West Bengal. Police has also recovered objectionable literature from the capture of Abdul Kashim. Based on the revelations made by the arrested suspect in connection with JMB and its other active members, the police have registered a case under various sections and started the investigation. Abdul Kashim will be presented before the LD Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Kolkata.

Since the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the terrorists are angry and are waiting for big attacks across the country. In such a situation, an alert has already been issued to the security agencies, due to which the agencies have become active and are keeping a close watch on the suspects, under which they have been arrested.
