Bangalore: In the Herohalli ward of Yashwantpur Lok Sabha constituency in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, citizens of Tunganagar, Vishwanidam, and other areas were surprised when they saw an astronaut walking on the roads. Seeing this Astronaut moving in the dark of night on Saturday, it seemed as if it was actually walking on the bumpy and pitted surface of the moon.
Actually, it was the new artwork of famous artist Badal Nanjundaswamy, through which he was trying to show the plight of roads in Bangalore. Local citizens liked it quite a lot, many people even helped them divert the traffic on the road. Nanjundaswamy is also known for attracting the attention of the government and officials towards civil problems. Actor Pooranchand Mysore became an astronaut in this feat of Nanjundaswamy.
Nanjundaswamy says, 'I have seen many pothole roads in the city, but the condition of this road was the worst.' Seeing this, Nanjundaswamy decided to make this road into the surface of the moon and the huge craters (craters) built on it. Pooranchand, who became an astronaut, expressed happiness in being a part of this initiative, saying, "The condition of the road is very bad, it should be repaired soon."
