The apex court on Friday refused to hear a petition seeking direction to Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to remove CM Mamata Banerjee from the post. The petitioner has been asked to go to the High Court. In December last year, CM Mamata Banerjee had demanded a referendum on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) under the supervision of the United Nations.
