Srinagar: In the matter of restoring 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir, the Supreme Court of the country has asked to form a high-level committee without any delay. According to the court's decision on Monday, the Home Secretary, Telecom Secretary and Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir will be members of the committee. However, the top court has refused to order the restoration of 4G internet at present.

The court said that it is a matter of concern and safety of the petitioners. What path can be adopted by coordinating between the two? Will think about it from both a technical and practical perspective. A committee should be formed for this. The court said that this committee will be headed by the Home Secretary. While delivering the verdict on Monday, the apex court immediately asked the central government to form a high power committee and consider alternative arrangements keeping in mind the security needs for redressing the concerns of the petitioners.

A petition was filed to restore 4G service in the valley. It was said in this petition that due to the existing 2G service, there is a problem in the education and business of children. Amidst the corona epidemic, people in the state are not able to get necessary advice from doctors through video calls.
