New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the petition filed against PM Cares Fund. The NGO Center for Public Interest Litigation had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the funds deposited in the PM Cares Fund be transferred to the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) in view of the Corona epidemic.

After the verdict of the apex court, political rhetoric has started. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda said that due to the decision given by the Supreme Court, Rahul Gandhi's nefarious intentions regarding the PM Cares Fund have been revived. JP Nadda wrote in tweeting, 'The Supreme Court's decision on PM Cares has rekindled Rahul Gandhi's nefarious designs. It shows that despite the bad intentions and malicious efforts of the Congress party and its allies, the truth shines differently.

Nadda further said, 'The general public who contributed heavily in PM Care has repeatedly rejected Rahul Gandhi's claim. Now the top court has also pronounced its verdict. Will Rahul Gandhi and his army of activists still improve their modalities?l Nadda also said, 'The Gandhi family operated the PMNRF as private property for decades. The PMNRF diverted the hard-earned money of the citizens to their family trusts. The country knows quite well that the campaign against the PM Cares Fund is an attempt by Congress to wash away its sins.'
