A bench headed by Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud said that it may be a political issue, but we have to look only at its constitutional aspects. We will not ask the other party to file a reply on this affidavit right now, otherwise, this endless cycle will start. The CJI further said that this matter has been listed before the Constitution Bench, wait for the hearing on November 24. Singhvi, a lawyer by profession and a Congress Rajya Sabha MP, told the court that the central government officials are not picking up the phone or participating in the meetings.
