New Delhi: Responding to the affidavit filed by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia regarding the inaction of the bureaucrats, the top court has said that this is a political issue, but we will deal with it in a constitutional way. Now the Constitution Bench will hear the matter. Along with this, the Supreme Court said that till then there will be a ban on filing any kind of documents. Let us tell you that the court is hearing about the scope of legislative and executive powers of the central and Delhi government.

A bench headed by Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud said that it may be a political issue, but we have to look only at its constitutional aspects. We will not ask the other party to file a reply on this affidavit right now, otherwise, this endless cycle will start. The CJI further said that this matter has been listed before the Constitution Bench, wait for the hearing on November 24. Let us inform you that, before the court, the affidavit of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia has been mentioned by advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

Singhvi, a lawyer by profession and a Congress Rajya Sabha MP, told the court that the central government officials are not picking up the phone or participating in the meetings. This affidavit shows handicaps in the administration. At the same time, the Central Government's lawyer Sanjay Jain said that this is a very wrong approach. This affidavit has been given a political campaign and was shared with the press before it was filed. Congress leader and lawyer Singhvi, appearing for Sisodia, said, 'I have not given a single copy to the press. We know how the press gets the copy. The Supreme Court is hearing a legal issue relating to the scope of legislative and executive powers of the Center and the Delhi government over the control of services in the country's capital. Two separate affidavits were filed before him.'
