New Delhi: Political turmoil continues in Tripura over violence in elections. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) seems to be in a cross-border mood in the matter. So Monday was creating a ruckus all day. Now that the TMC has reached the Supreme Court over the issue, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the Tripura violence today. Mamata Banerjee has left for the national capital on Monday. Many TMC MPs are already camping in Delhi.

Bengal CM Mamata said there is an atmosphere of chaos in Tripura. People are roaming freely with daggers and sticks. My MPs want to meet Home Minister Amit Shah, however, I have prevented him from protesting in front of the Home Ministry. Mamata said I am proposed to meet PM Modi. The issue of BSF will also be discussed during this period. CM Mamata hit out at the BJP over the Tripura issue saying people are being targeted in Tripura. Human rights are nowhere to be seen.

Mamata further said that the atrocities that are taking place in Tripura have turned into republic skeletons in BJP ruled states. An artist like Sayani Ghosh has also been arrested, a case of an attempt to murder has been made against her. He said that Abhishek Banerjee has gone to Tripura, atrocities are taking place there. They are not even allowing treatment there. Where has the Human Rights Commission gone now?

BJP reminds Bengal's bloodshed:-

On the other hand, BJP MP Locket Chatterjee has hit back at Mamata Banerjee saying that "Khela Hobe means the death of more than 60 people, an exodus of more than 1 lakh people, gang rape of women and atrocities. If this is the definition of 'Khela Hobe' in Bengal, no one will say 'Khela Hobe' in Tripura. In Bengal elections, TMC gave the slogan of Khela Hobe and after TMC's thumping victory in the elections, there was fierce bloodshed in the state, in which many people were killed and hundreds fled to neighbouring states after saving their lives, as well as the rape of women and all these were accused of TMC workers.
