NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh government has told the Supreme Court that the girl has been safely recovered from Jaipur in Rajasthan along with her friend and is being brought to Shahjahanpur in connection with the disappearance of a student accused of sexual harassment. The Supreme Court has expressed its intention to meet the girl after she was informed of her recovery. The court asked, "Where is the girl now?"

The apex court questioned the Uttar Pradesh government as to how long it can be produced before us today. And what is its exit location? The government has told the court that the missing girl has been safely recovered from Jaipur in Rajasthan and she has reached Fatehpur Sikri and she can be produced before the court in about two-and-a-half hours.

The state government has told the court that the boy with whom the girl was with will also be produced before the court. The top court said he would meet the girl within the chamber, after which the court would give her order in the open court. A student studying LLM from a college in Shahjahanpur district had released a video on social media asking the government to help her by threatening to kill Chinmayand and living in her own misfortune.
