New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina popularly known as Chinna Thala and Mr IPL has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. That is, now left-handed batsman Suresh Raina has announced his complete retirement from cricket. Raina himself has given this information while sharing the post on social media.

Earlier, Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020. But even after that, Raina continued to play domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, he was also playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, Suresh Raina was not bought by any franchise in the last IPL 2022 season. That's why he could not play in IPL 2022.  

However, media reports are quoting sources as saying that Suresh Raina can now be seen playing in foreign leagues as well. This is being said because Raina has asked for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Earlier, former Team India cricketer Yuvraj Singh also played in foreign leagues. It is also being told that Suresh Raina can also be seen playing in the Legends Cricket League to be held this year.
