filmmaker Bala, who is known for his work in movies like Naachiyaar, is reportedly in talks with Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar for a movie. Suriya Sivakumar, worked with Bala is Pithamagan that released in 2003.

According to the repory, If the project gets a green signal, it would mark the duo's collaboration after 16 years. According to a report in Indian Express, a source was quoted as saying, "things are in the initial stages, and yet to be finalised soon."

Meanwhile, NGK’s teaser  has been dropped online a while ago. The political film stars Suriya in the lead, and actress' Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies. While the teaser did not reveal the release date of the film, Suriya at the end of the teaser said, "kathiruppom", which in Tamil means "let's wait". NGK is looking at a Christmas release.

On the work front, not only this, Suriya and KV Anand, who have previously collaborated in films like Ayan and Maattrraan, will be reuniting for an action-thriller. While Saayyehaa will be seen playing the female lead of the film, Harris Jayaraj has composed music for the Sariya starrer.

On the other hand, Bala is has been working on a multi starrer film, and is planning to rope Atharvaa and Arya in pivotal roles.
