Niharika Konidela has been trying to get success as an actress but her efforts are not turning fruitful yet. Nagababu's daughter, fondly known as Mega Princess, Niharika Konidela entered the film industry with the hopes of becoming a successful heroine. However, she hasn't scored a hit yet in spite of making multiple appearances on screen already. Her last two films turned out to be duds. Now, her third film ‘Suryakantam’ is due for release this weekend but there is hardly any hype around it. The team is using social media extensively to create buzz but they are not trending.

She has pinned a lot of hopes on her upcoming film Suryakantham in which she plays a bubbly role that suits her off-screen persona. The film is slated for release on this Friday. Pre-release buzz for Suryakantham has been low, but it has the advantage of releasing during the drought period at Telugu box office. ‘Suryakantam’ is a rom-com directed by newcomer Praneeth and it puts Niharika under the spotlight. However, the teasers and the songs have failed to generate excitement. It may clash with Lakshmi's NTR that is likely to hit the marquee on Friday. Being a multiplex film, Suryakantha will have its set of audience in spite of competition.
