Apart from the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate, the Narcotics Control Bureau is also investigating the actor Sushant Singh Rajput case. The NCB started the investigation when a WhatsApp chat by Rhea Chakravarty surfaced in which the narcotics were talked about. Now it is to be informed that NCB has filed a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty for being active in the drugs case.

If media reports are to be believed, the Narcotics Control Bureau has filed a case against two people including the actress for conspiring to do drugs. Apart from Rhea, the two people on whom the case has been filed are Farooq Sheikh alias Farooq Batta and Bakul Chandaliya. Both of them supply drugs in the Bollywood film industry. In case of the death of the actor, NCB can also interrogate these two.

According to the sources, the NCB had on August 26 filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty, her brothers Shouvik, Farooq Sheikh and Bakul Chandalia under sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Now NCB has filed a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty for conspiring against drugs. According to media reports, the Enforcement Directorate has recently written a letter to the Narcotics Control Bureau to investigate the case. Also asked to find out where drugs came from Rhea Chakraborty and the late actor. With this, the investigation of the case is going on continuously.
