Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik and Sushant's former assistant Samuel Miranda have been sent for judicial remand till September 9. Showik's friend Kaizen Ibrahim has been sent for a 14-day judicial remand. On Friday, Showik and Samuel Miranda were taken into custody by the NCB team after an angle of drugs surfaced in the death of the deceased actor.

Recently, WhatsApp chat of actress and Showik was revealed. This chat was based on drugs. Thereafter, on Friday morning, a team of NCB raided the house of the actress and Samuel Miranda. Late-night Showik and Samuel Miranda were taken into custody by the NCB for their involvement in drug dealing. Before presenting in court today, Showik and Samuel Miranda underwent a medical examination. After which they were presented in the court. While hearing the case, the court has directed Showik and Samuel Miranda to be sent on judicial remand for four days.

Kaizen Ibrahim has been sent to a 14-day judicial remand. On Friday, the NCB team raided Showik and Samuel Miranda's home when drugs peddler Zaid Vilatra revealed that both of them used to buy drugs from him. After this, both of them have been taken into custody by the NCB. Today both of them were produced in court. According to media reports, Showik Chakraborty also confessed to the NCB that he used to buy drugs for his sister Rhea Chakraborty. The investigation of the case is going on continuously.
