On Thursday, she and Ankita Lokhande demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter and demanded justice. On August 15, Global Prayer has been kept for Sushant and Shweta has appealed people to join it.

Recently, Shweta shared a post on social media and wrote- "I request you all to please join us for Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput so that the truth prevails and we find justice for our beloved Sushant". With this post, Sushant's sister has shared a poster which is of Global Prayer Meet. This Prayer Meet is scheduled to take place on August 15 at 10 am. Everyone will remain silent and pray for Sushant.

Before this, Shweta shared a video and appealed for a CBI inquiry to investigate the death of her brother. During that time, while sharing a post, she wrote "It is time for us to find the truth so that we can get justice. Please help our family and the whole world to know the truth. Otherwise we will never be able to live a peaceful life. Raise your voice for the CBI investigation for Sushant's death case."
