Today i.e. 14 August is the birthday of Johnny Lever, the famous comedy actor of Indian cinema. Today, on this special occasion, special information related to his life is going to be given to you. On this day in 1957, Johnny Lever was born in Andhra Pradesh. He has won 13 Filmfare Awards in the Best Comedian category. Johnny, who started his movie career in 1984, has acted in more than 350 films so far.
Johnny could not read much due to worsening financial condition. He studied from a Telugu school in Andhra Pradesh up to seventh standard. He came to Mumbai at an early age and did many things to make a living. He also sold pens on the streets of Mumbai to fill his stomach. He used to sell pens while dancing to Bollywood songs and mimicking film actors. On the basis of interest and dedication, he developed his talent talent. He was assisted in this work by Mimicry Artists Pratap Jain and Ram Kumar.
Johnny has also worked with his father in the Hindustan Lever Company of Mumbai. While working, he used to make his colleagues laugh with his comedy talent. Gradually he became popular among other factory workers and officials and here he got the name 'Johnny Lever'. Johnny started doing shows along with work, which gave him a different identity. In a show, Bollywood actor Sunil Dutt recognized his talent and gave him an opportunity to work in 'Dard Ka Rishta'. This is where Johnny's success started. He has acted in more than 300 films so far.
