According to a woman resident of Shakuntala Colony, a person was standing near the tap in the evening under suspicious circumstances and was spitting around it. By doing this, he was infecting the hand pump. Seeing which the said woman made noise, he escaped.

This has caused panic among the people of the area. Police was informed about this. On this, the police reached the spot and called a CHC team. It sealed the hand pump. The team of doctors appealed to the people of the colony not to use its water. He said that it will be sanitized. Only then can its water be used.
