Stockholm: A communal riot has erupted once again in Sweden. There was a frenzied mob of radical Islamists rioting and violence in the city of Linkoping on Thursday (April 14, 2022) following the announcement of burning copies of the Quran by immigrant and anti-Islamic party 'Stram Kurs'. Many vehicles were set on fire and stone-pelting.

The masked frenzied mob burnt police vehicles shouting 'Allahu Akbar'. Four police officers were also badly injured in the attack. The police retreated, seeing the frenzy of the rioters, giving the rioters the guts to riot in other cities of the country, including Norrkoping, Rinkybi, Stockholm and Orebro. Police spokeswoman Asa Vilsund said: "Their mentality has become aggressive and police have also been attacked at the scene.''

According to the police, there is also a possibility of fracture in the hand of the officers. Independent researcher Hugo Kamman has said that the rioters stole a police car, which they are now roaming around the city. In a tweet, he said, "The fact that this has been allowed to happen is a failure of the Swedish police's claim of the rule of law. Along with Orebro, riots have also been reported in the Stockholm suburbs of Rinkibi and Navesta in Norrkoping following the burning of the Quran.''
