Now the food delivery company Swiggy and Zomato have started the home delivery of alcohol in some cities from today. In their separate statement, Swiggy and Zomato have said that the company is starting the home delivery service of liquor from some cities of Jharkhand, where delivery will be started today in the capital Ranchi. After this service will be made available in other states.

Swiggy said that talks are already going on with other states, so that home delivery of liquor can be done with the help of its existing logistics. Swiggy says that social distancing can be followed through home delivery of liquor because if this happens, there will not be a crowd at liquor shops. Not only this, but they also say that by making home delivery of liquor safely and responsibly, they can also generate business for retail outlets.
