T20 World Cup 2021: Indian squad to be announced on Sep 7, 3 players to remain reserved

New Delhi: The Indian cricket team will play in the T20 World Cup 2021 with which players are likely to be announced in the next week. According to reports, Team India may be announced after the Oval Test for the T20 World Cup starting in Oman and UAE from October 17. The Indian team's T20 World Cup team is said to be announced on September 7.

It is clear from this news that a player is not going to get a place in the T20 World Cup based on his performance in IPL 2021. Selectors and Team India Management have already fixed their players. According to media reports, Team India will select 15 players for the T20 World Cup. They will also carry 3 reserve players with them. Ishan Kishan, Prithvi Shaw, and a spinner will move UAE as reserve players. Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Mohammad Siraj may get a chance in the T20 World Cup squad. Any of two spinners R Ashwin, Rahul Chahar, Varun Chakraborty, and Washington Sundar could get selected.

Team India will start its campaign on October 24. Team India will play their first match against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. Team India will then face New Zealand on October 31, Afghanistan on November 3, and Super 12 on November 5 (B-1).
