NEW DELHI: TV's most famous comedy show Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has been in the spotlight for a long time due to Disha wakani who plays Daya Bhabhi. She had taken a leave of absence from the show due to pregnancy, but she did not return. There are reports that Disha may return to the show soon and has been hinted at by his colleague  Dilip Joshi who plays Jeetha lal.

In an interview to a newspaper on the return of Day, Dilip Joshi said, "I don't know, but anything can happen." Disha can make a comeback for Dayaben's character. I am hoping that she will return. He added, "Even if someone leaves your family, life goes on. You have to explain yourself. There is no other way. I think this roll is made for her.

They have worked hard for nine-and-a-half years. In the past, there were reports that Vibhuti Sharma's look test for Dayaben's role had been done. According to some reports that came earlier this year, the Disha had sought to raise the money, as well as to change their working hours. She was demanding Rs 1.5 lakh per episode.
