Banks, financial institutions and authorities do not pursue such work without changing the land use. As the initiative is being taken to promote industrial, commercial and residential activities in the state, the cases of change of use of agricultural land are increasing.

The developers, investors, farmers and common people have been complaining that the revenue officers do not take decisions in such cases for a long time. They have to go to the government offices for months, and sometimes have to suffer exploitation too. There is also a delay in the expansion of economic activities and employment generation. On the orders of CM Yogi Adityanath, he has made it necessary to take a decision in 45 days on applying transparent process for change of use of agricultural land.
