1. Mujeeb Zadran has become the youngest player to enter in the auction. From Afghanistan Mujeeb Zadran is the 16th year old teenager. He was also part of under-19 world cup. Mujeeb was bought by the King XI Punjab for Rs. 4 Crores. He was the youngest and now he is million dollar baby.
2. Sandeep Lamichhane, is the only player from Nepal in the IPL auction. On Sunday, the Daredevils bought Lamichhane for Rs 20 lakh the culmination of a process that began a year-and-a-half ago, when the franchise first spotted him at the inaugural Hong Kong T20 Blitz. The young spinner has brought Nepal cricket its breakthrough moment, becoming the first player from that country to be part of the IPL.
3. Shubman Gill, India's under-19 batsman father was rejoicing as he watched his son slam a memorable hundred against arch-rivals Pakistan in the U-19 World Cup semi-final yesterday. Watching Shubman on television also brought back memories for Lakhwinder Singh Gill. "My son did not want to be a farmer like me. He wanted to pursue his career in sports. My employees and I used to bowl at him every day. He trains for four to five hours daily and never skips his practice sessions," Lakhwinder said from Mohali.
4. Manzoor Dar cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir, it was a dream come true to be representing Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the cash-rich league. Dar, who is the sole cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir in the IPL this year, bagged his deal of Rs 20 lakh and became the second player from Kashmir to be drafted into a franchise.
5. Kulwant Khejroliya is 25 years-old young talent who was a waiter and now he was sold in the IPL Auction. He made his List A debut for Delhi in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 26 February 2017. Prior to his debut, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for Rs 10 lakhs. In January 2018, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2018 IPL auction.
