Chandigarh: Protest has started against the arrest of fugitive Amritpal Singh, head of pro-Khalistani organization Waris Punjab De. Amritpal's father Tarsem Singh has raised questions on the action of the Punjab Police. The father of the accused says that his son was fighting a war against drugs in Punjab. Guru Sahib thought that Punjab should be free from drugs. 

Now Amritpal's father has appealed to the Sikh Sangat that his son Amritpal's mission to make Punjab drug-free should be carried forward. Tarsem Singh said that he has received news through TV channels that Amritpal has been arrested. The elder claimed that his son was not in touch with the family. Also, the pictures shown in the media during the absconding were not clear and correct, because Amritpal has been seen in Sikh form even today. At the same time, all the children who have been tortured by the police along with Amritpal are with them. 

At the same time, Amritpal's uncle has said in his statement that he came to know only on Sunday morning that Amritpal has surrendered. We were thinking that he is in the custody of the police. Amritpal had never any contact with the family during the absconding.
