Chandigarh: Khalistani slogans have been raised at the Golden Temple on the occasion of the anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said sikhs should start a training academy in which people are told how they can wield weapons. Let us know that the Akal Takht is one of the 5 authorities of the Sikhs. Giani Harpreet Singh said this at a function to mark the anniversary of Operation Blue Star outside the Golden Temple. Khalistani slogans have also been raised in the same programme. During this time, there has been a demand to release sikh prisoners from jails. Speaking on the occasion, Harpreet Singh said, "Sikhs never got freedom. Attempts are being made to weaken the Sikhs politically, economically and socially. We need to be religiously strong. This time, by deploying the police, the government has tried to control the Sikhs. '

Giani Harpreet Singh further said that in the way crime is on the rise, in that case, people of every religion have the right to protect their people. Giani Harpreet Singh said, "Sikhs should be trained to wield weapons. His statement comes at a time when Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala was killed about a week ago.
