Kabul: Taliban militants are capturing one city after another in Afghanistan. Taliban militants have also captured most of Afghan's Kunduz province on Wednesday (August 11). That is, now Kunduz Airport has also gone out of Afghanistan's hands. Moreover, the Mi-35 Hind Attack helicopter gifted to the Afghan army by the Indian Air Force has also been snatched away by Taliban militants. MI-35 was designed by Russia.

Video and photos of the same have surfaced from the Taliban-held airport in which Taliban militants are monitoring the gunship. However, the rotor blades and vital parts of the helicopter's engine appear to be missing. A closer look at the video and photo shows that the rotor blades were placed on the ground, under the helicopter. According to defense analyst Joseph Dempsey, a satellite photo on July 14 showed an MI-35 attack helicopter parked with its rotor blade in Kunduz's hangar, but the photo clicked yesterday, August 10, showed a helicopter without a rotor blade.

He said that therefore, it is believed that the Afghan army had already predicted defeat to Taliban militants, which led them to remove the parts of the helicopter. At the same time, it is speculated that apart from removing its rotor blade, it may have been the Afghan Air Force that separated its engine from the helicopter. So that it cannot be used. However, this could not be confirmed.
