On Wednesday, a devotee living in Tamil Nadu has done something that after knowing it, your senses will fly away. The devotee has donated gold conchs and chakras worth nearly Rs 2 crore to the famous Tirupati Balaji temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.

An official of this temple said, "After worshiping the Lord (Balaji), the revered Thangadurai handed over three and a half kilogram gold conch and chakra to the temple authorities." Thangadura is from Theni in Tamil Nadu. The temple official said, "The main deity of the ancient temple will be decorated with these ornaments." In further conversation, the officer quoted the devotee as saying, "The devotee had become seriously ill during the lockdown caused by the Covid-19 epidemic and now he has donated it on completion of his wishes."

Tirupati temple is a temple in which gold offering comes on the day. Due to this, this temple comes first in India in terms of donations. Millions of people come here every year to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
