Four more DMK leaders turned Corona positive, total of 17 MLAs infected

Chennai: Coronavirus epidemic is spreading rapidly in the city. Meanwhile, the state, which comes second in the list of the most corona-affected states, has been stirred up after four MLAs of Tamil Nadu's main opposition DMK MLAs found corona investigation positive. A total of 17 MLAs have been tested positive for coronavirus in the state.

Among DMK MLAs found to be Corona positive, Karthikeyan of Vellore, R.P. of Ranipet. Gandhi, Ganesan of Thetakudi and T. Senguttan of Krishnagiri are included. All have been admitted to the hospital after being found infected. Symptoms of coronavirus such as fever, cough and body aches have been found in all of them. The number of Corona positive MLAs from the state has increased to 17 including these four MLAs. All the infected legislators, including ministers, admitted in private hospitals instead of government hospitals, criticizing that they lacked confidence in the state's facilities.

Earlier in the month of June, MLA of the state's main opposition DMK, J Unbadgan had died due to coronavirus. He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai after complaining of breathing problem. 62-year-old J Unbadgan was named among the top DMK leaders.
