A shocking news came from Tamilnadu  Congress. A Congress candidate contested from the Srivilliputhur constituency in the state assembly elections has died due to  COVID-19. Let us share that he has filed name a few days before for claiming his candidature. It is noted that Congress candidate PSW Madhava Rao died of complications at a hospital today after being infected with coronavirus last month.

For your information let us share that as he died after elections, there won't be any re-polling. If he wins from his constituency in Virudhunagar district, a by-election will be held. All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary in-charge of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Twitter said: "Deeply pained to learn about the sad demise of INCTamilNadu Leader and Srivilliputhur Assembly Congress candidate Shri MadhavaRao, due to Covid complications.".

However, it is expected that election commission will take important decision in favor of all parties . As now in Srivilliputhur Assembly Congress has no candidate. Now its all about depends on result, once result came then EC may further notice in it.
