In a bid to bolster sustainable practices, Tata Motors inaugurated its fifth registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF) near the capital. Teaming up with Johar Motors, the RVSF boasts the capability to safely dismantle 18,000 end-of-life vehicles annually, the company announced.

This facility is equipped to handle both passenger and commercial vehicles from various brands, ensuring efficient scrapping processes, Tata Motors emphasized.

Girish Wagh, Executive Director at Tata Motors, hailed the launch of the fifth scrapping facility as a significant stride towards promoting sustainable practices and responsible vehicle disposal. "Creating value from scrap is in line with our vision of fostering a circular economy," Wagh remarked.

Tata Motors already operates four RVSFs in Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Surat, and Chandigarh. Under the banner of 'Re.Wi.Re Recycle with Respect', these facilities specialize in dismantling end-of-life vehicles, prioritizing eco-friendly methods throughout the process.
