There will be a permanent magnet AC motor that comes with regenerative braking and its powertrain has a dedicated cooling circuit, which will work better even in summer. It is believed that Tata Motors can launch the new Nexon EV at an initial price of around Rs 15 lakh. According to experts, the company may also include Ziptron powertrain technology in the next-generation Tigor EV and Tiago EV. Soon the company is also preparing to launch its new Altroz EV.
