The Punjab School Education Department's Education Recruitment Board has started online recruitment of 8393 pre-primary teachers. Candidates wishing to apply for Punjab 8393 Pre-Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020 can submit the application by visiting the official portal, educationrecruitmentboard.com or by direct link given below. The application process will last until December 21, 2020.

Educational Qualifications:
According to the Punjab Pre-Primary Teacher Recruitment Notification (No.2020299562) released by the School Education Department on 23 November 2020, candidates who have passed 12th standard and received diploma in Nursery Teacher Education from a recognized board can apply. Candidates should have passed 12th with at least 45 per cent marks. Candidates should have studied Punjabi as a subject at the 10th standard.

Age Range:
Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 37 years on December 1, 2020, ie the due date for commencement of application. However, there is also a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for the reserved category candidates of the state as per the rules set by the government.

Application fee:
While applying online for Punjab Pre-Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020, candidates will have to pay a fixed application fee of Rs 1000. However, the application fee for the reserved category is 500 rupees only. The application fee can be paid through online means.

Selection Process:
According to the Punjab Pre-Primary Teacher Recruitment Notification 2020, the candidates for these posts are to be selected on the basis of written examination and merit.
