Bhopal: The District Education Officer has issued the order on last Friday i.e. 28 February 2020. In which the teachers who have done sterilization are given the benefit of increase in greencard increment by the due date. In this order, in May 2019, the order issued from the Directorate of Public Education, Bhopal was also cited. On Friday, the DEO has issued a letter to the DPS District Education Center, Principal Diet Bagrul, BYO Harda, Khirkiya, Timarni all the clusters of Principal High and Higher Secondary School and BRC of 3 blocks. Earlier, the MP Health Department had also issued an order regarding vasectomy, in which there was a lot of controversy about the health department employees being targeted for male vasectomy. Later the order had to be withdrawn.

What is Greencard increment: It is being said that government employees get its benefit in the form of 2 increments. This is called advance increment. Government employees of any department get the benefit of green card increment for the entire service period. This also increases DA every year.

The order issued regarding vasectomy had to be withdrawn: It has also been learned that for a week, the government ordered the health department employees to carry out sterilization operations of 5 to 10 men every month, but when the controversy increased, the order Had to be withdrawn. Also, State Director of National Health Mission, Bharadwaj, was removed from the post. Bhardwaj had said in the order that employees will not be given salary on no-work, no-pay basis if they do not meet the target. Compulsory retirement will also be given to the employees.
