Hyderabad: In the first T20 match played in Hyderabad, the Indian team defeated West Indies and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series. On the strength of skipper Virat Kohli (94 not out), India won by six wickets, proving to be a  huge target of 208 runs set by the Windies.

Apart from Kohli, Lokesh Rahul also played an excellent inning of 62 runs in this victory of India. This is also Kohli's highest score in T20. With this victory, India took a 1-0 lead in the T20 series of three matches. This is the biggest target achieved by India in T20 so far. Earlier, India had achieved a target of 207 runs against Sri Lanka in 2009, 10 years ago. In this way India broke its own record.

With this victory, the Indian team has made another big record in its name. The Indian team has won 7 T20 matches against the West Indies in a row. It is the best record of any team in the world against the West Indies. In this case Pakistan is in second place, which has registered 5 wins against the Windies in a row.
