Dehradun: Uttarakhand has invited Chinese investors to invest in tourism and urban planning. The government believes that Tehri is going to be developed into a world-class modern tourist destination using urban placement techniques. This will set Tehri as an ideal destination for tourists on the global stage. On Saturday, State Secretary, Tourism Secretary Dilip Javalkar held a meeting with the Chinese delegation at the Secretariat office on investment in tourism and urban dwellers.

In this meeting, on the issue of exchange of tourism and culture between China and Uttarakhand with development works in the five star hotel, Sister City Convention Tehri region was discussed. After the meeting, the Chinese delegation left for Tehri to face the possibilities of an urban appointment. The tourism secretary has told that this meeting was held with the aim of inviting Chinese investors in Uttarakhand. In which the members of the delegation have shown positive interest to invest.

The Tourism Secretary informed that constant efforts are being made to build five-star hotels in the state and increase investment in urban areas. Uttarakhand's economy will be strengthened due to the increased tourist movement between the two countries. Also, this will enable the exchange of culture and mutual harmony between the two countries. Dwarka Prasad Raturi was present at the meeting along with Chinese representatives Pang Zhang, Ying Sun, Zhanxi Dun, Jinfeng Ren.
