Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had already won the hearts of peasants by deciding to abolish the VRO (village revenue officer) system in the state but the CM of the state has given the hint that it is only the beginning, here on the fourth day of the sixth Assembly session four important Bills have been introduced. The bills introduced were One- the Telangana Abolition of the Posts of Village Revenue Officers Bill, 2020, Two-the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Bill, 2020, Three-the Telangana Municipal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2020, and Four- the Telangana Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2020.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who spoke on the aim of the bills also said that soon a portal would be put in place which would contain all required details. The portal would have two parts agriculture and non- agriculture lands. It will be totally transparent and everyone would be able to access it and see details of lands, but not 'interfere' with information.

Earlier, Errabelli Dayakar Rao who is the Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development has postponed a draft notification of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department for removing of two Gram Panchayats, Kothur and Thimmapur of Ranga Reddy district, from schedule VIII of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act 2018 as required under section 3 (2) (g) of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act No 5 of 2018).
