Hyderabad: The Directorate of Government Examinations has officially initiated the process for accepting applications for the 2023 Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) on October 3, 2023. Aspiring candidates who meet the specified eligibility criteria can submit their Telangana NMMS Scholarship 2023 applications online via the official website at bse.telangana.gov.in. The application window for Telangana NMMS Scholarships will remain open until October 13, 2023, with the deadline for printed submissions set for October 16, 2023. The NMMS examination for class 8 students in Telangana is scheduled to take place on December 10, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, spanning all 33 districts of the state.

Visit the NMMS official portal at bse.telangana.gov.in.

Locate the NMMS tab on the homepage.

Click on the "NMMSE Online Application Receiving - 2023-24" link.

This will open the Telangana NMMS registration form.

Enter the School DISE code and password.

Complete the application form, including personal and academic details.

Pay the applicable application fee.

Upload any necessary documents.

Submit the Telangana NMMS scholarship application form.

Download and retain a printed copy of the application for future reference.

Application Fees:

General and Backward caste students: Rs 100
SC, ST, and PH category students: Rs 50

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have achieved a minimum of 55% marks in class 7 or an equivalent grade during the 2022-2023 academic year. Additionally, the annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs 3.50 lakh.
