Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Tata Teleservices can pay dues on Monday in case of AGR dues on telecom companies. This information has been revealed from official sources. These companies have reported partial payment to the Department of Telecommunications, along with Vodafone Idea told the stock markets that the company has received an order from the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) immediately after hearing in the Supreme Court on Friday.  Along with this, the company was assessing how much it was able to pay.

AGR owes a total of Rs 1.47 lakh crore to the country's telecom companies. DOT expects the telecom companies to pay the adjusted gross revenue arrears on Monday. Apart from this, a DoT official said that Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Tata Teleservices have said that they will pay on Monday. With this, the DOT will consider further action only after these companies have paid and assessed the amount received.

Bharti Airtel had said last Friday that it would pay Rs 10,000 crore within a week and the remaining amount before the next hearing of the case in the Supreme Court (March 17, 2020). Also interesting is that despite the Supreme Court's order to pay arrears by 23 January 2020, state-run telecom companies like BSNL and MTNL have not yet paid. With this, BSNL owes Rs 4,989 crore in AGR items and Rs 3,122 crore on MTNL, while Vodafone Idea has to pay the highest amount of Rs 35,586 crore to Bharti Airtel and Rs 13,800 crore to Tata Teleservices.
