One cannot deny the power of good content. And we all have witnessed its potential in recent times. The audience has become choosy when it comes to watching shows, series or films. As content-driven projects have come to the forefront, many actors and filmmakers are ensuring to give something meaningful to the audience. Actor Amit Misra who has predominantly worked in Hindi serials is gearing up to bring endless entertainment to everyone.

Amit has acted in around 39 soap operas. The actor has been away from the small screen for a long time. After a hiatus, he is now set to enter the world of OTT space soon. Having worked in shows like 'Mere Humsafar', 'Shaktimaan', 'Vishnu Puran', 'Darshan Do Bhagwan' and 'Om Namah Shivaya, Amit Misra says that he missed being on-screen for the longest time.

With time evolving, Amit has understood the need for knowing the audience's preferences. "When you are aware of the audience's expectations, there is nothing that can hinder your way. I am currently on a quest for doing shows that have a higher relatability factor", he said. After parting ways from soap operas, Amit Misra dived deep into filmmaking. The versatile actor feels that films have a universal appeal and can connect to a wider audience.

In addition, Misra shared his views on why he took a distance from the small screen. As per the actor, television is time-consuming and requires commitment for a long time. That's when Amit thought of exploring films. Amit's last project as an actor in his filmography was 'Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000' which was released in 2019. The film was shot in Prayagraj and starred Priyanshu Chatterjee.

After gaining thorough experience from TV shows and serials, Amit Misra is now more confident than ever. His longing dream to work in films has been fulfilled, and the actor is excited to bring an array of projects in the coming time.
