Telugu film's powerful actor Meka Srikant is celebrating his 51st birthday today. Today, in the year 1968 Meka Shrikant was born in Gangavati, Karnataka. He is known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also won two State Nandi awards and a Filmfare Award. He started his acting career with the film ‘People's Encounter’, in which he was in the role of a Naxalite. This film came in 1991. After this, he worked in many more films.

Career

In the year 1990, Shrikant got acting training for 6 months at Madhu Film Institute. Then his first film, ‘Peoples Encounter’, got released in 1991. Meka also played small roles in the form of villains and supporting actors in his career. He emerged as the lead actor in the film ‘One by Two’, he has acted in more than 100 Telugu films in his 28-year film career. His first hit film as a lead actor was Taj Mahal, which was produced by Dr. D. Ramanaidu and directed by Muppalaneni Shiva which was released on 25 May 1995.

Personal Life

Meka has a bachelor's degree in CSC College of Commerce, Karnataka University, Dharwad, B.Com from Karnataka. After this, he also received a diploma from a film institute in Hyderabad. Talking about his marital life, Srikanth married Ooha, on January 20, 1997, and has two sons, Roshan and Rohan, and one daughter, Medha. Many good wishes for Mecca Srikanth on the occasion of his 51st birthday on behalf of the Newstrack family.
