Patna: Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar minister Jama Khan, who questioned the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI), has now come into the news with his statement. State Minority Welfare Minister Jama Khan had questioned the central government's decision to ban PFIs.
He had accused BJP leaders of creating ruckus in the country and said that PFI is a political wing. The central government should have conducted an inquiry before banning it. Jama Khan had said that it is not appropriate to impose such restrictions on any organization, not just PFI. Now, reversing his statement, Jama Khan has said that he does not know what led to the PFI being banned. Further, the JD(U) leader said that if any organisation does wrong, it must be banned.
Earlier, Jama Khan had said that the leadership of the country is in your hands. That doesn't mean you'll do what you feel like. People are watching what you are doing. Sunil Singh, a minister in the Bihar government, had also said about banning PFI that those who have taken action should go and discuss. It is entirely the decision of the central government. Regarding the ban on PFI, former MLC Ghulam Rasool Balyawi had said that if PFI has been banned then RSS should also be banned. Ghulam had quoted Lalu's statement and said that if Lalu has demanded a ban, then it will definitely be the right thing.
