Dehradun: A major accident took place on Monday morning in Vikasnagar, Uttarakhand. A girl child also lost her life after the school bus hit a tree. While 5 children have been reported injured. Police has reached the spot. Simultaneously, relief work has also been started.

A school bus student died on the spot when a school bus rammed into a tree near the Badwala forest checkpost barrier in Vikasnagar. Five other students were also injured in the accident. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the villagers and police rushed to the spot and took the injured to the hospital. There is anger among the villagers over the incident.

The family members were shocked by the death of Shrishti: According to the information received, on Monday morning, a private school bus in Barwala had left for the school with the students. To save a vehicle coming from the front near the forest department's checkpost barrier, the bus driver pushed the bus to the side of the road. Meanwhile, the upper part of the bus fought against a branch of a tree standing on the side of the road. Due to which the front part of the bus crashed extensively. 5 children aboard the bus were injured. The villagers who reached the spot after hearing the screams after the accident took the injured children to the hospital. Where doctors have declared Shrishti Chauhan daughter Padmasingh Chauhan, resident of village Netwar, dead. Other injured children are being treated at the hospital.
