Washington: US has welcomed the framing of charges against Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai terror attack and mastermind of the banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa, as well as conducting a full case and speedy trial on the lines of his international obligations to Pakistan. Has urged.

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Alice G. Wells, tweeted on Wednesday that we welcome the framing of charges against Hafiz Saeed and his associates. Wells also said that the US urges Pakistan to conduct a full trial and a speedy hearing on the lines of its global obligations. He said that we urge Pakistan to fully prosecute and expeditiously pursue its global obligations to stop funding of terrorism and to punish the perpetrators of terrorist attacks like 26/11.
