Bareilly: militant outfit  Indian Mujahideen (IM) threaten to blow up police station. The police team is conducting a search operation on the spot. Since this information, surveillance has been stepped up at the railway station and police personnel have been deployed in plain clothes.

Munne Khan alias 'Mulla', who describes himself as the Area Commander of IM, sent a letter to Satyavir Singh, superintendent of Bareilly Railway Station, on Tuesday afternoon. It has threatened that under no circumstances should the Kanwar journey from Muslim-majority areas to kanwar, otherwise it would bomb the Bareilly railway station. THE IM's letter stirred up the railway station and the police immediately launched a search operation taking the matter seriously.

Munne Khan wrote in his letter, "I am the Area Commander of IM, I want to inform the Station Superintendent that if the Kanwaris pass through Muslim dominated areas, we will detonate at the railway station. It is good to inform the police and the administration about it," he said.
