Jammu & Kashmir: Militants throw hand grenade at CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, 2 injured

New Delhi: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been attacked by terrorists with grenades at Tral in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Assistant Sub Inspector Asim Ali and a local resident were injured in the attack, which has been admitted to the hospital. Local resident Mehrajuddin Ahmad has suffered a minor injury in the attack.

At 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, militants attacked CRPF soldiers with grenades at Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. A senior police official said that the militants hurled a grenade at the CRPF party of 180 BN. In which ASI Asim Ali of CRPF was injured. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the area and started researching the attackers.

Earlier, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir had achieved great success on Saturday. The security forces had piled up a terrorist during the encounter in Anantnag. The slain terrorist was identified as a category terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba and IED expert Nasser Shakeel Saab Shak Bhai. The killing of this terrorist is being considered a major success for the security forces. An AK-47 rifle has also been received from the encounter site.
