Removing 13 people, including children and their coaches of junior soccer team stranded in the world's most inhospitable cave, was not so easy. However, due to the significant contribution of the Government of India, the operation was completed.
Therefore, the Prime Minister of Thailand, especially thanking India, said that we are grateful to Indians. In fact, the Thai government had also sought the support of the Indian government for the removal of children trapped in the Tham Luang cave along with the coach Ekapol Chantawong. After this, the heavy Kirloskar Floodpump was sent from India, thereby reducing the level of water in the cave.
Its effect was seen from Sunday and four children were taken out of the cave in the first consignment. Divers succeeded in taking out the coach from the cave, including junior football players. On the orders of the Government of India, Heavy Floodpump of Kirloskar was sent from the company of Kirloskar Group located in Sangli district of Maharashtra. Kirloskar's company head Prasad Kulkarni had left for Thailand on Friday night with heavy flood pump.
Prasad Kulkarni's brother Kishor Kulkarni told in an interview with a news website that there was a need for a heavy pump to remove the water filled in the cave. On behalf of the Government of India, it was ordered that with a bigger pump, a pump technical expert would be sent to Thailand.
After that Kirloskar management sent Prasad Kulkarni with heavy flood pump went to Thailand on a special aircraft on Friday. The work of extracting water from the cave was started through this heavy flood pump. Divers and rescuers were helped to remove the children from the cave on Sunday and successful operation started.
