New Delhi: Three persons, including two Uzbekistan girls, have been detained from the Crime Branch of Delhi Police in connection with the prostitution racket charges. Apart from two foreign girls aged 24 and 28, the third accused is being identified as a cab driver. He has been identified as Jahangirpuri resident Puran Singh (47). Puran used to take a commission of Rs. 2,000 each from foreign girls and leave them to please the customers. Foreign girls also charged customers 20 to 25 thousand rupees. Police are still looking for several other criminals in the case. Police are conducting raids in search of them. Amidst investigation, police found that foreign girls were living illegally in India even after the visa was terminated.
Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Monika Bhardwaj has said that her team received information that some foreign girls were illegally pursuing sex rackets even after the expiry of their visas in India. An agent named Monu provides foreign girls to the customers as per the requirement. The police team asked Monu to supply 3 to 4 girls with the help of a fake customer. He demanded 20 to 25 thousand rupees for a girl. The girls were called to Sector-15, Rohini after the talks. Then, in a cab, 2 girls came there. Both were foreign girls. The fake customer interacted with them and the deal was settled for Rs 20,000. After which both the girls and cab driver Puran have been arrested at the behest of the customer.
During interrogation, the two girls said that she came to stay in India on a tourist visa. Both of them were doing prostitution racket business to meet their expenses. Puran said she had come in contact with a broker named Ramesh for 4-5 months. It was at his behest that he started leaving the girls with the customers. The girls used to give her 2,000 commissions each according to a girl. Police are investigating the case after examining the arrested accused.
